Sign up for my Art Newsletters where I share my process and previews for this upcoming series. Later in 2021, I will present the exhibition here online, ahead of "brick and mortar" venues throughout Minnesota.
This exhibit presents a themed group of paintings and 3D art work conveying the beauty and elegance of the unseen, scientific forces and formulae to which we (and all of nature) are inextricably tied. We move within these forces just as much as we physically consist of the same elements and atoms. Themes include playfully opening a door to other dimensions, paths of personal growth, thinking outside the box, connection with each other and nature, looking within, time and personal awareness of the present moment.
Viewing the world from a wider perspective than one’s own often limited reference point leads to empathy, understanding and, ultimately, to a feeling of connection. Scientific concepts include string theory, Fibonacci sequence, Möbius strip, botany and trigonometry relating directly to human experience.
A portion of the upcoming work towards this art project is funded by a 2021 Creative Support for Individuals grant from the MN State Arts Board.
