artist statement
Art reminds us of what it is to be living, feeling creatures connected to the shared experience of being human in this world, on this earth. My goal in creating is to show something deeper, to convey what lies beneath. We may get art but art, in its turn, must get us!
Bio
Otter Creations, based in Aitkin, Minnesota, is the business name under which I create, exhibit and sell Stephanie Mirocha art. I believe in the strength and flourishing that comes from allowing your passion, gifts and expression to emerge. Songbird Studio provides a wonderful space for me to work in several media, from oils, silk painting, and acrylic to my first love, watercolor.
